In 2001, a small team of people with a clear vision – accelerating the energy transition of buildings – launched the BEE Group at CIMNE, at a time when the idea that buildings could be active elements in the fight against climate change was little more than a commitment to the future. Two and a half decades later, that commitment has become a tangible reality and an international benchmark: more than 10,000 connected and supervised public buildings, technologies deployed in hundreds of city councils, and energy management tools that have transformed the way administrations and companies understand their consumption.
