Artificial intelligence for more sustainable cities and buildings

On 26 November 2026, Lleida will become an international meeting point for artificial intelligence applied to urban climate adaptation and the decarbonisation of buildings. BEEGroup organizes the BEE-AI workshop, and wants to count on you.

The workshop will bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, urban energy systems and climate science, to present and discuss advanced methodologies that combine physical models with data analysis techniques — machine learning, neural networks, statistical inference — applied to urban climate adaptation, building decarbonization, solar energy and distributed energy resources.

The call for applications is open. If you work in any of these areas, this is your opportunity to share your research in front of an international audience.

Deadline Until 7 October 2026
What to send Name, surname, email, title and an abstract of between 400 and 500 words
Resolution From 8 to 15 October, an international jury will select the abstracts that will be presented on 26 November

The abstracts will be evaluated by: Peder Bacher (Technical University of Denmark), Sonja Klingert (University of Stuttgart), Jaume Salom (IREC), Úrsula Eicker (Concordia University), Roberto Garay, Gerard Laguna, Gerard Mor and Jordi Cipriano (director of the Innovation Unit of BEEGroup).
